The Mendoza Dialogues, a new webcast launched through Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, is an upcoming series of webcasts that will focus on global economic trends and global business in general. Mendoza Dialogues will include Mendoza College of Business alumni and business professors discussing current topics and events.
The first in the series of Mendoza Dialogues is being hosted by Notre Dame finance Professor Jeffrey Bergstrand and Mendoza alumni Sean King. Both of these men are intimately familiar with the University of Notre Dame and are very well versed in the field of global business.
Jeffrey Bergstrand has been a professor of finance at Notre Dame for more than 25 years. He is the associate dean for graduate business programs and a concurrent professor of economics. Bergstrand is a widely respected authority on international finance; he has published more than 50 pieces in highly reputable economics journals.
Sean King, the senior vice president of Park Strategies, graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with an MBA in 1999. King, who is responsible for the advisory firm’s business in Asia, is an expert in Asian affairs and is a regular on CNBC-Asia. King also previously served as the Senior Advisor for Asia in the US & Foreign Commercial Service.
The Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame is a top-rated business school with four graduate programs: MBA, EMBA, Accountancy, and Nonprofit Administration. Mendoza’s MBA program has many praises, receiving the titles of 16th best program in the world by AméricaEconomía Intelligence and #1 for business ethics by Bloomberg Businessweek.
