The Boys and Girls Clubs of America
Not everyone has a positive role model to look up to. Not everyone has a guide to show you how to live or how to study. That is where the Boys and Girls Clubs of America comes in. They offer solutions for students who are at risk for dropping out. They offer a safe, welcoming environment in which to learn and grow.
Some kids do not have a parent at home. Often their parents work two or three jobs to make ends meet and they can’t be home. Just having a place to come that is quiet, clean and friendly can make all the difference. It helps to know there are people who care.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of America give kids a “sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.” There are branches all across the country.
