The Seattle Aquarium is a place for kids and adults alike. There is nothing more exciting than feeling like you can just reach right out and touch a fish. If you visit the underwater dome, you will feel like you are immersed in a sea of color and motion.
You may see an octopus or seal. You might chat with an otter or puffin. You might even get your hands wet in the touch tank. Go with the flow.
The Seattle Aquarium is full of fantastic learning opportunities for teachers, parents and children. If you are in the field of education, talk to them about how their programs tie in to the Washington State Science EALRs. There is nothing like hands-on science and math. You will even have the opportunity to teach about environmentalism and conservation of wild habitat.
