Being in the foster care system presents a whole range of difficulties. Education often falls by the wayside while watching family dramas play out. Fortunately, there is an organization dedicated to helping foster kids stay on track. They are called Treehouse.
It has nothing to do with actual trees or houses, but their goals are as lofty as the tallest tree. Through partnerships with schools and the community, they work to help foster children make it to graduation and beyond.
